STAGES OF PREPARATION

The three-year preparation has a unique approach for preparation for young minds after class 12th. Most of the time it has been seen that those who prepare after the graduation, sometimes take more than one attempt and then get success.

Lakshya 3 Year foundation course gives you the proper preparation and also a chance to know your preparation level without wasting your attempt. And once you are done with the preparation till the final year of graduation, you are ready to crack the examination in your first attempt.

Here in EDEN IAS, we divide the entire preparation in three stages and cover the entire syllabus every year on different levels.

FIRST YEAR – THE BASE YEAR

In the first year we welcome all the bright minds and start the syllabus with a very basic level, so that aspirants from various different backgrounds of class 12th (Arts, Science – Biology, Maths, Commerce) can feel comfortable in the class even if they do not know the ABC of Civil Services examination.

The class starts with one subject at a time with proper notes making, daily home work and personalised doubt clearing counters under the mentors. We arrange regular weekly and monthly test series after the completion of every particular subject. The First year ends with a proper EDEN MAJOR TEST (on the pattern of UPSC Exam) and the feedback raised as per the major test helps the aspirant to start the base of his/ her second year as the advance year.

  • Monday to Friday (duration – 02 – 2.5 Hrs.) [Classes based on both NCERT and Standard sources coverage]
  • Daily Home Works related to the subject matter taught in the class (1 subjective question with detailed model answer). – [For Mains oriented preparation]
  • Daily MCQ’s practice (10 questions) – [For Prelims oriented preparation]
  • Daily News Impulse (6 -8 Important topics from daily News Paper).
  • Weekly Current Affairs Editorial Classes – Every Sunday; covering newspapers, magazines, AIR, PIB etc… with WCR magazine.
  • We take a Sectional Test on the subject after the completion of the subject; 100 questions – Prelims (MCQ Test), 20 questions – Mains (Written Test), Debate – on the topic related to that subject.

SECOND YEAR – THE ADVANCE YEAR

The second year is known as the advance year. The advance year is to develop the answer writing skills, and also to start the interlinking of the General studies paper and work on the enrichment of the marks scoring areas like – GS Paper IV, areas like Case studies, Essay writing etc…

Also, the mentors work on the feedback of the EDEN MAJOR TEST held after the First Year, and help you to improve you weak subjects through mentorship programs.
